TB worked with Turner prize winner Simon Starling, on an overprint handprint of Josef Frank’s signature design ‘Grona Faglar’ Green Birds.
Starting with the base of ‘Grona Faglar’, selected birds and foliage were blocked out with a handprinted unique opaque overprint. Featuring 30 panels in total, each measuring 4 metres in length, the panels were turned into screens for a Copenhagen hospital in an ode to Frank's classic design.
One Foot Taller, who produce contemporary designer lighting, is run by Katty Barac, a long time friend and collaborator of Timorous Beasties.
This pop-up exhibition will give interior designers, buyers and specifiers the opportunity to meet in person with some of the TB team and explore new designs.
Timorous Beasties will return to Decorex to showcase a curated selection of bespoke pieces including wallpapers and fabrics that combine both digital and hand-printing.
Timorous Beasties once again re-define the design parameters with a new pattern paradigm by abandoning the fine lines and detail with Sakura cork wallcovering and Matzu Tree in both linen union and superwide wallpaper.
