Now Hiring: Digital Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic, Glasgow-based team.

Location:

This is a full time position based at our design studio in Anniesland, Glasgow. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a visa sponsorship or remote working.

Salary:

£30-32,000 dependant on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team.

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing plans to enhance the company's online presence, drive brand awareness and sales and contribute to overall business growth.

This role requires a creative and strategic approach to digital marketing, with a strong ability to deliver high level of output across different digital disciplines.

This role will report to the Studio Coordinator but will work closely with and support multiple colleagues across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Plans Development

  • Develop and execute a robust digital marketing plan, aligned with the company's overall objectives and brand identity.
  • Identify and capitalise on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

 Online Presence Management

  • Optimise the company's website, ensuring it is current and reflects the latest collections, engages visitors effectively and drives highest conversion possible.
  • Manage and grow social media channels, fostering a thriving online community around Timorous Beasties' products. Build a fully populated social media calendar that works B2B and B2C and agree key stories and content with colleagues.

Content Creation and Curation

  • Collaborate with creative, design and communications team to develop compelling and visually stunning content for digital platform.
  • Collaborate on photography and videography shoots for digital use and beyond, securing approval with commercial and creative teams to ensure aesthetic is coherent and on brand.
  • Work closely with commercial and creative team to curate and manage content across all channels, including the website, social media and email campaigns – ensuring the development of engaging stories

 SEO and SEM

  • Implement and optimise search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve the company's visibility in search engine results.
  • Manage and execute search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Utilise analytics tools to monitor and evaluate the performance of social media, SEO/SEM, website performance and email activity.
  • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and use insights to refine and enhance strategies.

Commercial Support

  • Collaborate with the commercial and ops teams to optimise the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless customer experience and growth in conversion and site performance.
  • Implement strategies to drive online sales and customer retention, promote and merchandise product online.
  • Work closely with commercial and customer facing team to identify ways to align the online experience with the showrooms and to help conversion in both channels.

Email Marketing

  • Collaborate with commercial team to plan email calendar of activity in line with content plans, sales targets and social calendar.
  • Ensure email plan covers B2B and B2C needs and follows a ‘test and learn’ approach, optimising throughout the year.
  • Work with ops team to ensure maximum sign up to email databases.
  • Work with design & communications team to design email templates for marketing purposes and ecommerce journey templates.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

A minimum of 2-3 years proven experience as a Digital Marketing Executive

In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends, SEO, SEM, email and social media platforms.

Strong creative and analytical skills, with a keen eye for design aesthetics and storytelling.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Proficiency in web analytics tools and content management systems.
