Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester, (InterContinental Hotels Group), opened in October 2020 having been reimagined by interior designers Goddard Littlefair.
Working initially with Michaelis Boyd, Timorous Beasties created a bespoke Bloomsbury Garden cushion and fabric for the guestrooms. The customised design incorporates wild honey bees to reflect Manchester’s emblem, the worker bee. The fabric has been recoloured to compliment Goddard Littlefair‘s interior scheme and is printed on a durable washable Trevira velvet.
TB worked closely with SMC Art Consultancy to create Floral Trail, a bespoke artwork commissioned by Saga Cruises for use on their Spirit of Adventure cruise ship.
Following restoration of the historical 17th century Baronial mansion, The Auld House is the prestigious home to 14 exquisitely restored suites, each named after one of Loch Lomond’s islands.
In 2009, Middlesex Guildhall on Parliament Square underwent extensive refurbishment overseen by Feilden and Mawson Architecture when it was established as the location for the UK Supreme Court.
Timorous Beasties were invited by interior designers Jestico + Whiles to decorate the stairway of the new Glasgow restaurant Alston Bar and Beef, which opens out onto a view of the kitchen.
