This paper is ready trimmed.

Walls should be carefully prepared with good quality lining paper and the best results will be obtained by using traditional style prepared tub paste. Over soaking should be avoided but sufficient time (5-8 minutes) should be allowed to enable the paper to become supple and avoid bubbling.

Hanging hand-printed paper is a job for a skilled craftsperson who is experienced in paper hanging. The paper is heavyweight (150gsm) formed of two layers bonded together. Standard rolls are 10m long and 52cm wide. The printed surface should never be scrubbed. If it becomes soiled, it should be lightly sponged. One cut length should be pasted at a time and care must be taken to avoid double pasting as this causes discolouration. Joints should be tightly butted but never overlapped. Paste should not come into contact with the printed surface of the paper. If so lightly wipe with clean water.

Special Note

Care should be taken to inspect the paper after the first two of three lengths have been hung. The supplier cannot accept responsibility to entertain claims after the work has been completed.
